It Takes a Village — From Birth to Becoming Balanced

Becoming a mother is more than a moment — it’s a transformation. In the 4th trimester, your body, mind, and home all learn a new rhythm. As your postpartum doula, and a part of your village, I’m here to help you find that rhythm again through compassionate care, practical support, and gentle guidance. From newborn care and light housework to meal preparation and emotional encouragement, my goal is to help you rest, recover, and confidently ease into motherhood by allowing you to focus on bonding with your baby and caring for yourself. Please note that I am not a babysitter, maid, or chauffeur, but a dedicated professional who provides intentional care, education, encouragement and support to help you thrive in your 4th trimester and beyond.

As a Black postpartum doula, I understand the importance of culturally sensitive care and will tailor my approach to meet your specific needs. My services go beyond just helping with your baby; I provide holistic doula postpartum care, ensuring you feel supported in your physical, emotional, and spiritual recovery after childbirth. Together, we’ll work through any challenges you face during the postpartum period, making sure you have the space to rest and nurture yourself as you adjust to life with your new baby.

"Nikkita was a vital part to our birthing experience and a true advocate. From leading up to delivery, help in labor, and advocating on our behalf with medical staff we cannot thank her enough. From the moment of our consultation she was kind, caring and encouraging which is exactly what we were looking for in a doula. Every parent should have a strong support system no matter what they envision and no matter how circumstances can change that. She was with us at every turn despite needing I take an alternate route. We cannot thank her enough for helping to get our miracle baby here."
